Hey guys! I know it's been a while since I've updated, but here's me trying to make use of my 4 day weekend. Truth be told, I actually worked on this piece on Wednesday and Thursday... Anyhow, this is one of the 12 pieces that I need to make for my AP art concentration portfolio (the theme is character development/storytelling). I'm trying really hard to work on backgrounds/perspective/details. I still have a LOT of time to put into this piece (still have to add two characters and work on the remaining background). I actually want to work on some fanart today, so I'll most likely be working on this piece tomorrow.
Anyhow, I want to stick to the promise that I'll be updating every week. It's been difficult for me to fulfill that promise mostly because I have more work in second semester... They lied about being a second semester senior! Oh well...
critiques: -In the foreground, the ground's pebble pattern looks like you're seeing it from a bird eye's view. It should be foreshortened in relation to that perspective point (?) way off in the unseen left. -The bridge needs something vertical to support its bottom layer - see here. lol, physics -Not really a critique, but don't forget that the water's going to reflecting light back c:
Haha I feel the same way about the pebbles and the water. I'm probably just going to redo all the pebbles or just change the lighting. Whoa, did not even think about the vertical support! Thanks! I'll see what I can do.

I'm excited to see this finished
