I FINISHED! I was supposed to finish this piece before school started (which was about a month ago), but I ran out of time... This piece took me easily over 15 hours, and it's sad because the pros can draw something in 1 hour that looks better than my entire piece.

However, I do see improvement in my digital art capabilities...I tried working more on the background and the foreground. I also attempted lighting. There was also a lot of detail involved in this piece, and I had to use a lot of refs (since I've never drawn angel wings or portals/mirrors before).

Of course, this piece is a fan art of Light Yagami from Death Note. If it's not obvious, Light is one of my favorite fictional characters of all time. I know he's pretty messed up and all, but I think that constitutes wonderful character development. Whatever, haters can hate.

Anyhow, that's it...

I'm so tired that I'm going to sleep now. Too bad I have school tomorrow
