Hey!  I know I've been very inactive this past year, and I want to try and make it up this summer.  I'm taking summer classes, so I don't have too much time on my hands during the weekdays (or really the weekends, for that matter).  The class I'm currently taking has a pretty heavy workload, and I won't be finished with it until next week (that means studying for quizzes and the final, eek). I'll have next weekend off, though, and I'm hoping I can spit out some quick pieces.  I'm planning on drawing/sketching that entire weekend, and I'm going to head to the art store downtown and pick up some art supplies.  After that weekend, I start another class, but hopefully by that time I'll manage my time a bit better. If not, I'll be home for a couple of weeks before school starts, and I'll definitely be working on the majority of my unfinished pieces.  

Here's what I hope to work on: 

-Perspective
-Architecture and landscape
-Quick, semi-realistic doodles (some might feature fanart -- I haven't decided yet)
-Anatomy (the two main things I want to work on this summer are architecture and anatomy because they're still the hardest things for me to draw)
-Realistic portraits
-Fashion? 
-Dragons (of course)
-Pattern-making/vector images (Adobe Illustrator is AMAZING. I'm still a beginner, but I've been watching some tutorials in my free time, and honestly, it's is so much more versatile than Photoshop Elements.  I don't have Photoshop CS6, so I can't compare Illustrator CS6 to it.  But damn, Illustrator has a TON of nifty features.)

I'm not going to take any requests this summer (because I always fail to properly gauge when I'll finish requests), but feel free to suggest a topic (preferably one that overlaps with the topics listed above)!  I might end up including the suggestion in some of my sketches!  

Okay, before some of you yell at me, I'm slowly but surely working on requests!  I'm in the midst of experimenting with a "full" digital style, meaning I'm trying to make my work look more complete (with better coloring/shading, anatomy, backgrounds, textures, etc...).  In the process, however, I tend to run out of patience and just end up uploading a work-in-progress.  I also usually paint for two straight hours before getting annoyed/bored and then surf the web/read manga for four or more hours... uhhh.

Hey guys!  I've been getting a lot of messages asking about requests lately.  While I initially said I'd only take 5, I've ended up taking approximately 10 now.  I love drawing requests, especially since they force me to draw certain things that are out of my comfort zone.  However, digital art is pretty difficult and time-consuming for me, especially since I have no set process of "painting."  As of now, I'm officially closing requests.  Everyone I've replied to as of this point will have his or her request finished, but I'm not willing to take any more.  

Thanks!  In the future (when my art improves significantly) I may reopen requests/officially take commissions.

Okay, so APs are essentially finished for me, though I do have AP Spanish Literature and Culture left for this upcoming Friday.  I also have to finish some school projects during this week, but for the most part, school's done.  

I'm planning on drawing some fanart in the upcoming weeks, mostly because I haven't done any in a long time.  

The categories will probably be the same:
-SAO
-Durarara (I'm relapsing...God, I love this anime.  And Trollzaya, of course.)
-Kenshin
-YGO
-Gundam Wing??? (tentative)
-D. Gray Man (Kanda Kanda Kanda Kanda)

REQUESTS INFORMATION:
For this month and sometime until June (I'm going to be gone for a week in May and for about a week and a half in June), I will be taking some requests (granted that they are appropriate and within my skill level).  While I prefer that these requests be fanart requests, I do not mind drawing a few OCs.  

Right now, I'm going to limit the number of request slots to 5, due to the fact that I want to draw them digitally, and digital art takes me a good amount of time.  I may raise the number if people request their drawings to be done in pencil.  COMMENT BELOW IF YOU WANT A REQUEST!  You do not have to be a watcher to ask for a request.

If no one comments, then I'll post in DA forums.

Give me approximately 3 or 4 weeks.  After that, I promise I'll upload something every week (even if it is a WIP or small sketch).  I need to force myself to do more digital art!  

I've just been feeling extremely uninspired lately, but hopefully that will change within the next few weeks.

Revised List:
-At least 5/10 portraits of Ren (to ease myself back into art since I love drawing portraits)
-SWORD ART ONLINE FANART (I love this series -- I just finished watching it)
-Kenshin fanart
-YGO fanart (WHY do I still like this fandom?)
-DRAGONS!  I have been meaning to draw dragons for such a long time now! I have mini drawings of them in my notebooks, but they're too horrible to upload!
-More graphic design things
-LANDSCAPES (I want to work with digital art for these)
-Gundam fanart (This is going to take me so long...)

Let's keep it at that for now.  I think around February/March, I might start taking requests or commissions.  It depends on what level I'm at and how comfortable I feel with drawing.
