BACKGROUND

For my last quarter of college, I decided to take a class called "Data and Algorithm in Art" for fun. One of my assignments was to create a project that showcased randomness and the passage of time.
Three of my peers and I decided to create a 4 x 4 grid, where each cell represented either a high or low of our day. So everyday, for 4 days, we'd randomly decide on a time to work on art. If the time ended in an odd digit, we'd draw a low of our day; if the time ended in an even digit, we'd draw a high of our day. This piece is one of my "lows" (sadly don't remember the specific time).
It represents a conversation I had with one of my best friends about friendship. The speech bubbles in the photo are actual excerpts from our conversation.
Sorry for the bad picture quality (the actual art piece is in storage right now, and all I have is a snapchat photo of it -- that's what you're seeing above) -- just wanted to post this image as a reminder to myself to post a better version + be more active on DA and Tumblr.
